1991 rack and pinion
Is it worth it? My rack and pinion bar just cracked, I don't know how it happened ;-(.
Does anyone have an estimate on the cost to get it fixed, is this something i could do in my garage or do i need a shop?

when you say rack and pinion bar, do you mean steering rack? if so, they usually run around 150-300 depending on application, check out www.discountsteering.com
a shop would be preferable since you will spend about %90 of the time under the car
