Lower Ball Joints
I removed the axles on my 92 Integra and during the process of seperating the lower ball joints from the LCA, I damaged the ball joint boot with the ball joint seperator and grease leaked out. Should I go ahead and replace the ball joint or should I just replace the boot and re-pack with grease?
If the option is to replace the ball joint, how do I take it off of the knuckle? What tools do I need and what's the process? If the option is to replace the boot and re-pack with grease, what tools do I need to do that and what's the process? Also, what kind of grease do I pack it with? Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Lower Ball Joints
ive ran and seen plenty of cars run with the ball joint boot torn. me personally, 4+ years. as for replacement goes. pick one up from ebay and take the hub with the ball joint to a machine shop. it needs to be pressed in.
