Unhappy help with b16b

i'm putting a b16b(99 jdm type R) and it comes with the ecu. NEbody now a wire harness that i should purchase or nebody know the pin codes for the ecu that i have??? Also.. the motor doesn't come with a tranny so what tranny should i use?? NE info is for the swap great thanx!!!

Well thats a rare swap. About the wiring harness u can use it from a integra gsr or civic si. U can use ANY b-series tranny. I 'm not sure about the ecu pin codes cause i don't really know shit about the b16b ecu.

its gonna be tough...if you wanna run that ecu, you're going to have to wire your car from OBD0 to OBD2... it can be done...but it is alot of work...you've got to add multiple fuse boxes...totally rewire the dash... blah blah... lotsa work. I'm sure the engine will run off of another b series ecu... there is someone on honda-tech by the name of mackymcg (something like that) who's running an OBD2 b18c5 in a hatch.... lotsa work.
