Engine mounts help, as well as a front strut bar.

I'm sure it's not good for the tires, but sometimes in my semi I'll put a little methol hydrate on 'em to bite a little better. Especially on ice.

Tires make the biggest difference, then engine mounts, then suspension

Motor mounts.. it would help to replace the rubber inside with better ones.. look on www.slowbayracing.com

Try getting motor mounts if the old ones are bad it will help a lot. Plus they're fairly cheap.

How bout a Quaife LSD? I hear they are the best, but expensive. I guess the term "you get what you pay for" really applies to this one.

Motor mounts will drastically reduce wheel hop (as I can see right now with them installed on my own car), though traction in a FWD is best helped by an LSD...good tires will be a minimal improvement.

Agreed, but it's perhaps the only worthwhile investment you can do on a FWD to help cure wheelspin....an AWD conversion for spyder runs an insane $6000-7000 (as quoted by RRE). So a $1500 Quaiffe aint that bad!
