This is confirmed from a local who lives by this kid. The story is his parents bought him the car.

Ok, so I am but a couple of hours from Portage. Look on the news for some fag with a dumb looking but yet still kickass STi stabbed by someone he doesn't know.

i think it's a fake. looking at pictures from import tuner there are things that don't amtch up.

that page has pictures, the car shown in their article has a strut brace you can see in the engine bay picutres, it also has an alloy radiator and a different sticker/decal on the intake manifold. also in that article the head-on photo shows the car has a roll cage, the pic the kid on myspace doesn't have one, and the seats are different.

a big giveaway in the article is the owner's name; Steinbrecher, not Amit like the myspace kid.

it's a fraud.
