Front dash speaker replacement
Hello,
What does it take to replace a blown front right dash speaker? Do you have to remove the dash or can it be accesses through the glovebox or another way somehow? Is there a step by step replacement FAQ of link? If whole dash comes out - - then maybe should replace both at same time as they are probably the originals. Anyone having nice replacement unit makes - let me know. Thanks in advance for any help. Mark |

The speaker comes out very easily by using a flat head screw driver or something flat and just pop it out. I believe the dealer charges around 60$ for replacements but i could be wrong. There are some alternative speakers I have seen that require some fabrication, but i recently noticed best buy had the dash speakers on their website, but it said that they would not sit flush in the dash. Hope this helps

Re: Front dash speaker replacement
Oh how easy. Popped right out. That eliminates a lot of stress. Thank you.
Now that I am looking at it, do you have any advice on how to remove the black grill with the black circular ring? I suppose one would reuse this. But I don't see the way it is supposed to separate easily. Quote:
