defently !!!! the m5 looks horrible like its had lypo suction, it looks stretched like wen someone pulls a face or something, where as the f430's smooth lines and shape are just practically perfect in my opinion, so for me its the ferrari

well i hate bmws to begin with. mainly because every time we bring in our car for service they always try to rip us off and we always have to go back to get our price readjusted and all of the new cars are really ugly and it all started w/ the 7. all fo the lights on the new cars are all wierd shaped. the headlights on the stupid 5 series looks like some one is pulling their eyes back and the butt of the car is so tall. they only thing good about the car i would admit is the engine. and yes well maybe no other sedans out there have a v10 but there are good comaprasins. such as the e55 w/ a supercharged v-8 that puts out 469hp or the cls55 w/ the same engine and hp. or the almost extinct s55 v8 w/ 493 hp or s600 that is a v-12 and has 493 hp and 590 torque. and the new s63 is coming out and is gonna have 503 or 510 hp and is only a v8. btw the e,s, and cls class in my opinion look better. btw i'm not pissed just sharing my point.

Wow so you're talking about real life situation here nosliw...Well I don't own a MB or BMW so I don't how their services are like but I'm only talking about their cars. yeah I agree the 7 series are a bit ugly (especially 745i) but I think the new 3 and 5 series look great!!! And yes all of the cars you mentioned have about as much hp as M5 but I still think M5 looks better than those cars....I mean don't you think it looks more aggresive than all of them??? But then again I'm not nearly as big a MB fan as you are and I'm a big BMW fan so I'm a little biased...

nosliw2004 Your probably swearing at the BMW mechanics cause they are ripping off. They'll always rip You off. Bmw gotta get cash simple. Every dealer rips off for car repairs after your guarantee passes even before. But did You consider not going to the dealers mechanics.
My point is Do You have any idea of the costs you'll have to cover in maintaining a ferrari ? ? ?
I will tell You. I saw it on a polish ferrari fanclub site. Changing the timing belt and some other crap cost like 12000 Euro twelve thousand euro yes. And You dare say that BMW are rippin off. Think again...

it's not the same because when you buy a ferrari you expect high maintenance costs. but a bmw is just a bmw not a ferrari. it's like comaring apples and oranges. not the same.
and btw i don't want to start a heated argument. this is just my opinion.

Nosliw I think Amnes brought up the high maintaining cost of Ferraris in response to you saying that you don't like the BMW because the maintaining cost of a BMW is high and the dealer is trying to rip you off.

By the way, you wouldn't expect low maintaining cost for a mercedes benz, would you?

i think you guys arn't quite seeing my point. they rip us off everytime and that in my opinion gives them a bad name. and no i don't expect low maitenance cost on a benz but they don't rip us off. btw a brake job on the slr cost $50000 yes that's 4 0s. lol
