5 speed tranny

anyone out can tell me what kind of oil i needed to oil change my manual tranny prelude vtec 94? im also thinking about having my clutch replaced. what is a good brand name that is not too expensive for street use? is flywheel need to be replaced or machined? how much they usually charge for clutch replacement? thanks

5W-30 is best to use in the H22A's, and I would also reccomend switching to synthetic for longer engine life.

As for the clutch and flywheel, brand names such as ACT and Exedy are good for everyday street use, they should run you around $250+. The flywheel doesnt need to be replaced when replacing a clutch, but you have the option of having it machined, or you can just buy a lightweight flywheel. Your decision.

thanks for the info.. but I was actually asking for what kind of oil they use for replacing 5-speed transmission oil. i need to replace my transmission oil.

You can use 10W-30 motor oil as your tranny fluid, but its not the best thing to do. Go down to your Honda dealer and pick up a few quarts of Honda Manual Transmission Fluid.
