Unhappy brake lights

brake lights wont work replaced the brake light switch, checked all bulbs and fuses all were good

This is a bit of a long shot, but, it could be the Multi-function switch in the steering column. According to my dealership, just about every exterior light on the vehicle goes through this switch.

My 2000 Jimmy had both the brake light switch and the Multi function switch go out at the same time. Luckily, it was covered under the extended warranty.
