Where is the Incoming air temperature sensor?

1999 Voyager, 3.3 litre

New Years Eve and the engine starts whining and transmission goes into limp mode.

Computer now is giving error code 23 which means apparantly "Incoming air temperature sensor may be bad."

Can someone tell me where this sensor is? I asked the parts guy at the Chrysler dealership and he went through the parts list on the computer but couldn't find anything to match. I can't find anything called that in Haynes manual either. Is it bundled in with something else or does it have another name?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the suggestion. However I looked in the air filter box and saw nothing that looks like a sensor. There are no wires going to the box either.

A trawl through the Haynes manual reveals that there is a Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor mounted in the intake manifold of the four cylinder engine but there is no mention of it on the V6. Does the V6 have a IAT? If it does where is it and why isn't it mentioned? If it doesn't why am I getting code 23?
