Battery

Hey All I have a 2000 Z-71 and the battery has been going down since it was new at first if it set for 2 weeks without being started it would be dead, now sometimes it last only 2 days. The battery is good. Could this be a common problem?

is a ac delco battery? if so check the positive terminal for corrosion.

it is a wal-mart battery. It is not a corrosion problem. thanks.

you may have a bad ground causing a battery drain or maybe your alt. is not charging correctly. Alot of parts places have equipment to check both of those things.

I would have the battery load tested. It is possible that there is a short or the battery is just bad. Battery problems come out when the weather turns cold.
