not trans Solenoids. Help

Changed solenoids in trany. My Aur still goes from 1st to 2nd,but gets stuck there.I had someone else look at it,they didnt know either however they did say left front wheel bearing was bad.And there was a speed sensor on the bearing.Could this cause the trany to have these symptoms? If not, what would be next on the check list

Re: not trans Solenoids. Help

This needs to be put on a full function trans scanner, then the solenoids can be commanded for up shifts and it can be confirmed whether the trans is recieving the proper commands from the pcm, if they are than it is an internal problem, any cel lite here?

Re: not trans Solenoids. Help

yes every time it does it, chk eng lite comes on.But when you turn car off and start it back up its off until you start down the road, then it shifts from 2nd to 3rd, it locks up in 2nd and chk eng lite comes back on.

Re: not trans Solenoids. Help

There will be a history code stored that should give some clue as to what is happening.
