Poor Heat
Engine heats up like normal but no hot air comes out of the vents in my 97 explorer. Any ideas?

If they are both good and hot, your fan speeds change like they should, and your a/c comes on when you turn the control knob to the appropriate positions, your controls are probably working ok and you need to research blend door fix / repair for explorers on the net. The blend door actuator breaks, and the door quits moving. About a $1,000.00 for the dealer to pull the dash and fix it, or a few bucks if you are willing to do a little shadetree mechanic work. |
