1995 Saturn SL1 Tachometer wire
I'm installing a remote starter in a '95 Saturn and I need to get the tach signal for the remote starter module. The guide says its a purp/white wire coming from the ignition module that runs an AC signal of about 1 V at idle, and should raise a little when the RPMs go up. When I test the wire, however, the signal voltage does not increase with the RPMs. Can anybody offer some help in finding this wire?

What kind of starter is it? The purple/white wire is the right one for my Bulldog starter on my 93 SL2.
