Transmission Parts
I am wondering where is the best place to get a rebuild kit for my transmission. Something with the synchros, bearings, and all seals. It is the 6 speed Getrag. I dont know what all I need but I figure that I might as well go for a full rebuild since the synchros are going out. The transmission has 84K on it and I dont know if it has ever been rebuilt. Do to the lack of oil it probably fried some bearings too. The clutch looks okay but I might as well change that now too while I have the transmission out. The throw out bearing is really bad. The bearings are shot in it and it always clunked around in there. What is a good clutch upgrade? Say something that can handle around 400hp because I dont plan on building my car up a lot. My friend knows someone that can build me a custom clutch but I dont know about how good it would be. My passenger side axle shaft is pitted on the spline end. I am going to need one of those.

for clutches check out 3sx, ipo, dynamic racing, etc. The vendors in the FAQ are great places to start.
