Rear window defrost

Wanted to know if anyone has had trouble with their back window defrost. The one I was looking at worked fine one day and then just didn't the next. The fuse is ok and the light comes on when you turn on the defrost. There isn't any power at the rear window. I read in another post about a relay or something in the back on the side (left) i think between the rear door and window. Is there one in this car and could the plug be melting causing the power to stop before getting to the rear glass. I am new to Chev's and didn't know where to look. The car is a 2001 4 door cavalier.

Re: Rear window defrost

The relay should be in back of the rear plastic pass side piller. It is a little squair thing. Hope this helps.
