stumbles on acceleration

I have a 93 Talon non turbo 2.0. I am having a problem when I accelerate it seems to stumble at first and then catches up with itself. It mainly happens on take off. It feels like it is either misfiring or is lacking fuel/air. I changed the o2 sensor, fuel filter, air cleaner, also I replaced the plugs and wires about a year and a half ago. Any suggestions???????

I just had the same problem on my 92 talon 2.0 nt. What I found was the tube from the air cleaner to the throttle was cracked in one of the ribs. Could not see or hear it until I started moving things around. The air going into the crack was bypassing the mas causing a stumbling at take-off. Hope this helps.

Re: stumbles on acceleration

Were the spark plugs gapped properly?
