Please Help

i just got escalade door handles, i managed to get the door panel off but now i am stuck. i can see the three screws that hold the handle on, and the linkage but its behind metal.... How do you take them off, please help, im stuck. Thanks for your help

there should be access holes to get to two of the screws, and the third you just have to stick your hand up in there. The one that you are probably most confused on is the bolt closest to the lacth side.
With the door open, look for a gromet on the door close to the handle, remove the gromet w/a screw driver. This exposes a hole to get to the bolt with a ratchet and extension. You should be able to remove a second nut with the ratchet and extension (you have to peel back the vapor barrier). The third, use either a wrench or ratchet w/o extension, and stick you hand up in there to get to it. Obviously, you'll have to remove the linkage as well....
Lastly the lock is held in with a snap ring.

Install is reverse of removal.
Project will take approx 1 hour....

Exactly what he said, and if yours is '04 or newer get ready to give blood when you put your hand in for hte nut that is hidden. My vehicles have a need for blood to work properly after a fix or mod.
