which tires for my rims
I recently purchased 4 chrome wagon wheel style rims size 15X15 for my 1988 toyota 4x4 and I am looking into getting new tires, but I am unsure of the size of tires because I dont want to lift my truck right now and I dont want any rubbing or issues with the size. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on tires sizes for me. Thanks in advance.

Re: which tires for my rims
holy crap those wheels are extremely wide. Are you sure they're not 15x7's or 15x8's which are much more common. 15 is obviously the diameter, and 7 or 8 is the width.

Re: which tires for my rims
I'm pretty sure you're not going to get these wheels on a truck that doesn't have any modifications for them. Have you tried calling tire shops at all? I personally haven't heard of any wheels that wide being used on our 4x4's. Yours isn't a 2wd is it? are you trying to get a low profile tire? Are these going to be used for drag tires?
For my 33" tires I run a 15x8 and the 15x10 gets used on 35's & 36's. Also, you will have backspacing issues with that wide of a wheel if you got some tires for them. What vehicle are these going on?

they r going on my 1988 toyota 4x4 truck. they should be fine, i just need tires wide enough to fit the rims. the rest I can handle. I have been wanting to do a lift for some time now but I wanted to avoid that by going wth some tires that would clear my fenders and all. I wil go by the tire storetoday and se what they tell me.

Re: which tires for my rims
Let me know what size you end up with. I'm curious to what's going to fit.

If you're wheels are not 15x15, like I suspect they are not, then a 31x10.5" will fit them fine. Do you have some pics of these wheels? If they truely are 15x15" wide wheels, then they will not fit on your truck.
