Re: f1

IDK bout them, but if you're looking into clutches, I'd say go with ACT, it's good stuff and is built to take some good abuse (assuming you don't abuse till after you put about 1000 miles on it).

500-700 miles is plenty for a break in. And I second ACT. As in most things with clutches "You get what you pay for"

Um, they are for sale everywhere......I think your problem is probably your budget.

Agreed. When I buy one I plan on spending around 10k. If you want one for under 5k then you are banking on finding one with issues.

Hahahaha you're joking right? The only way you'd run a VR4 time is with FI, either boost or spray. Bolts ons aint gonna get you there.

Re: f1

I'm not sure that all that'll get you into VR4 territory, they do run about a 13.4 or so stock with a good driver (the 2nd gen's and up), but if you do, more power to ya.

Re: Re: f1

The nitrous will get you there. But then you are FI just like a TT. But on a NA run you arent going to do mid 13's.

Re: f1

i'm not shootin for mid thirteens i'm shootin for a 14 flat or bearly break into the 13. oh and i did a check last night on several car search website and just like when i was looking for a vr4,RT/TT no one was selling one in my state. so like i said its supply not demand. trust me. i looked for like three months for a awdTT and could not find one. and anyone who would buy a car with out hearing, seeing, driving, before buying is a fool. i don't trust places like ebay and so on. if a car does not show up here for sale than so be it. we just have to make do with what god gives us.

Re: f1

I drove 180 miles outta state for mine. And I honestly didn't mind the drive home in my new vr4. Just for the hell of it, you may want to expand your search range on autotrader...worked for me, found exactly what I wanted.
