locate trans sol kit

I am sure my shifting problems are related to solenoids thanks to posts on this site, and answers to my previous posts. Thanks again doldsmobile. Now if I could bother you or any one one more time, where can I find the kit that several referred to that includes both solenoids, gaskets, filter,etc...

Re: Re: locate trans sol kit

I bought my kit at the local ac delco supplier.

Use this thread for more info:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=168531

The gasket for the lower pan may or may not come with the filter kit. Some suppliers only you give a filter with their kits.

You'll need:

Solenoid Kit
~10-11 quarts of fluid. I am think you are Dex III but you should verify.
Both lower filters - yes 2 in there.
Lower Pan gasket.

Jack
Two jack stands
Drain pan
10mm socket

DONT LOSE THE 4 CHECK BALLS. Look on the cadillac forums (sts i think) for diagram and description of where they go.
