Question Electric cooling fan

I am wanting to put an electric cooling fan on my 95 Sierra with a 305. I would like to use a used one and from what I can gather, one from a mid 90's Taurus with a 3.8 liter has a very powerful fan output. I do not do any heavy towing. Any thoughts from you guys??

Re: Electric cooling fan

Im assuming the fan size is much different. I would just recommend staying with the regular cooling fan in it if the engine is staying at a good temp.

Right on man. That's what I'm after, more power, better mileage and less noise. I am assuming you could tell the difference in all these areas. I never thought of the revving up on top of dirt, but that is a good point!!
