I am wanting to put an electric cooling fan on my 95 Sierra with a 305. I would like to use a used one and from what I can gather, one from a mid 90's Taurus with a 3.8 liter has a very powerful fan output. I do not do any heavy towing. Any thoughts from you guys??

Re: Electric cooling fan
Im assuming the fan size is much different. I would just recommend staying with the regular cooling fan in it if the engine is staying at a good temp.

You get more torqe, you can fill it pull you faster And if you got it wired direct your battere will go died .plus you dont get your truck full of dirt when your reving on top of dirt aaaaaaaawhatzzzzzzz upppppppp

Right on man. That's what I'm after, more power, better mileage and less noise. I am assuming you could tell the difference in all these areas. I never thought of the revving up on top of dirt, but that is a good point!! |
