c6 z06 rims

i want some of the new z06 rims because they would look so sexy, but i would need a wheel adapter. i heard somewhere that adapters dont hold up over time and that they could break. is this true?

It's fine for daily driving, just don't try pushing 400hp or do hardcore auto-x with it.

edit:

and also, what is so nice about the C6 Z06s? I think they're ugly as hell on anything but a Corvette. Now, the regular C6 wheels look alright.

I think ZR1s and (C5) Z06s look much better on 3rd gens.

Yes, plenty of F bodies.

There are plenty of photos of them on a forum that has "LS1" and "tech" in the web address

IMO they look "ghetto fabulous" like something you'd find on a rapper's car or something.

I'd say it's mainly the fact that there is no lip whatsoever.

Look for some Y2K wheels, I think they look classy but stand out just enough.

I think 3rd gens just need a wheel that is "tougher" looking. Hard to explain I guess.

Yea twos, but I heard hard cornering could brake them, also not many tire/ wheel shops will touch spacers....especially 2", I tried.....

Re: c6 z06 rims

Get bag's rims, they look the best on a 3rd gen.

I actually think the wheels you have on your car now are my favorite to see on a 3rd gen... Maybe to be a bit different it would look cool to mirror polish them, and paint the middle "spoke" thing black? Or maybe just change everything that is red on them to black?

You probably want wider than 8", but thats my opinion, wide tires look sweet on the third gens.......
