malfunction indicator light

I have a 2002 Caravan with the Malfunction Indicator light on. Can anyone tell me what this means? The car runs ok. Thanks..

Is it the yellow check eng light.
If so you need to get it put on a scanner and get codes.
post back code no.

Some parts places like auto zone give free code checks.

They offer the free code checks in the hope of increasing there parts sales.
Almost all of them will also offer mechanical advice and some know what they are doing.
But just remember most of them are parts people pulling codes for free.
Not trained professional tech/mechanics. Even if they pull a 02-sensor code or another sensor related code it does always mean to replace that sensor and your problem will be fixed.

No, its not the check engine lite. It looks like a sideways engine. The manual says its the malfunction indicator lite. Says it might be gas cap, bad gas or engine or trans malfunction.??????
