Question Svt swap or just tranny swap?

I have a 2000 zx3 with the zetec in it that was givin to me by my brother because he got a new car he owned it since new and it now has 107,000 miles I guess this was a lucky car because we have not had any problems with it watsover. It is my first car it has an automatic tranny in it and it is pretty fast for a 16 year old's first car but after I use it for a year or so and get better at driving I want to either drop in a svt engine and tranny or just change the tranny to manuel and keep the zetec. I need your advice on this because I think putting a svt engine in is pointless because I can make my zetec just as good if you ever changed the tranny from auto to manuel in a zetec zx3 please help me I need to know what other parts I need other than the tranny, pedal box,and the interior piecies for the shifter. Sorry for all the text I wrote have fun reading (:

thanks, Jan Aguero
