Oil Filter/PCV Part Numbers -- 2002 Trooper
Going to change the oil, install new PCV and clean out the EGR this weekend (thanks to this site).
But before I do, I need to stop by the dealer to get the PCV and oil filter. They've done me wrong in the past, so I wanted to make sure they gave me the right parts. Can someone please post the correct part numbers for the (2002 Trooper 3.5) PCV and Oil filters? Many thanks!!! |

If you want OEM pcv contact St. Charles.
As for oil filters there are a bunch of them out there. I personnally use AC delco filters.

For a 2002, if it's the threaded PCV vlv, I'd spray it out with intake cleaner & reinstall. The OEM PCV valves are excellent quality. For oil filters, I've been hooked on carquest premiums (or NAPA gold) they are made by WIX. The outer can is a little larger diameter than stock and they are solid as a rock. They are usually ~$5.
