Has anyone ordered from oehq.com?

I want to order some parts for my car. Since rockauto takes over two weeks before i will get my item, I found another place called, O.E. Parts H,Q, at oehq, com. Has anyone order from this place? What kind of service did you get? Do you recommend them? Chris.

There prices look higher to me than rockauto.com. I guess like anyplace some items are better priced, while others come in higher. I've had good luck with rockauto.com, and the shipping time seemed reasonable.

And Rock takes Paypal , and shows pics of item, and prompty replied to queries. Need I say more...worth the wait.

It takes rockauto 2 weeks for THEM to get the part, after they process my order. Should ge to me in about 3 weeks.
The other place takes 2 days to get to me. 3 weeks vs. 2 days for $8. more. Not sure if 3 weeks is worth the waite.
I didn't notice the paypal on rockauto site. I use paypal on almost all my web percheses. Also, O.E. Parts didn't answer an email I sent (1 out of 2). That might make it worth it.

FORGET TO MENTION I APPRECIATE GETTING DIFFERENT SUPPIERS. I DID NOTICE SOME OF OE PARTS WERE cheaper by at least $15 but generally they seemed comparable. AND I finally noticed OE has Paypal lol.
Its a toss up to pay extra for shipping if part is urgent, but in the case of a turn signal switch for example I'd wait and go with the courtesy.

I got an email AND a phone call from oe parts. They where closed for the holiday. One problem I still have with them is they didn't know if it came pre-programed. I think rockauto said theres was. I was going to order from rockauto today but this time, THEY are closed.
The BCM is only $6 cheaper to me from rockauto.
I must say I do like rockauto's site a lot better. They explain a lot more on the site.
Since there closed, I have a day to think about it.
Chris.

While I was waiting I checked gmdirect.com. They have it for way, way cheaper. Can't believe how cheap there parts are.
OE Parts HQ says there BCM's are preprogrammed. I think I'll spend the extra $6 to get it there.

I've seen posts where people have asked about where to get car parts. So anyone who searches for this post can benefit, here is what I found for my BCM on my 97.

O.E. Parts H.Q. has it to me for $67.51
Rockauto has it to me for $60.74 but takes about 2-3 weeks.
GM Parts Direct has it for $42.59. I didn't get the total with shipping since I had to go through to much to get it. Didn't want to fill out everything just to get it when they say it's a special order item and no refunds at all.

I ordered it from O.E. Parts. I plan on going through Rockauto on other things if they stock it, or can get it in not to long. I like there web site, and all there policies in plane site.
Chris.

Re: Has anyone ordered from oehq.com?

I recently ordered from OEPARTSHQ and had a great experience. I needed a group of pigtails for a fire job. When I compared pricing to Rockauto found OEparts to be about the same price and a little lower on some.

What was most amazing was they had them all in stock and shipped them the day I called. Order delivered in 2 days via UPS ground.

Also Shipping was free on my order.
