turbos

Hello is there a yurbo kit for a 1990 plymoth laser Rs 1.8L? or is there a conversion kit for the 1.8L motor for a turbo. i wan to keep my 1.8L but put a turbo on it. if someone knows please let my know thankz russ

plus all you need to find is the correct mani and hope it fits...then most of the parts are universal....you could get the turbo, WG (unless the turbo is internally gated), BOV, IC, and all the other parts from most any other set up around......

You need to get the correct mani, figure out how to fit it under the hood and in the space provided and then worry about the fuel management and delivery....i would suggest DSM 450s on a VAFC.....

there are a handfull of people who have built turbo 1.8 DSM's and are thoroughly disappointed with them. The head flows so badly that even with a turbo you only get ~150 hp, thats barely more power than a bone stock 2.0L Non-turbo DSM.
