Question I crashed my 2000 cavalier and now need to remove airbags

Well when i crashed my car both airbags went off and i have heard of people taking them out their self but don't know anyone who has tried!! help me im desperate!!!! email me at [email protected]

well i figured it out actually it's very easy on driver side there is three hex screws holding the streering collomn together then there is only to screws behind the steering wheel and on wire connecter directly to the airbag and on the passenger side inside the glove box there is one screw and under the airbag cover there is only 2 and the airbag cover has 3 screws inside to remove it and then there is only yet again 1 wire plugged into the airbag then you have the module and if you cann't figgure out how to take the module out then you should have taken it to a pro ........
..........like me..........if any problems call the 800 # for chevy and they will help you like they did me!
