manual window regulators

I want to replace the window regulators in my grand am. The driver side one was always bad since i got the car almost a year ago. The passenger went bad near the end of summer. I've found ways to roll them up and hold the glass up so my car doesn't get soaked with the rain. I'm wondering if it's even worth replacing the regulators or if they will just go bad again. Does anyone know if they made better replacement regulators or if there is a way i can reinforce them so they don't mess up. I've looked at the driverside one and the arm is bent so it slants. The car is a 2 door by the way.

Re: manual window regulators

I don't know of any aftermarket company that makes manual window regulators, Dorman makes replacement power ones, but no manual ones. Give me the year of your car and I can give you the OEM numbers. I believe the GM replacements are reinforced in the area you describe.

I've found websites that offer the regulators, my car's year is 94 and it's the 2 door coupe.
