d-series tranny swap
hey..would i be able to put a 97 civic hydraulic tranny to make my auto 99 a 5 speed?...they are both d series...thanks

it's possible but why would you get a lower model tranny for your civic? well it doesn't matter, a MT tranny doesn't need rebuilding, just replace any worn out parts from the tranny and then just swap the tranny and add a clutch pedal and the wiring to go with it.

you will need brake pedal from a 5speed too, its smaller than auto pedal
