there's nothing wrong with thinking you're better than other people as long as you're not an ass about it. if you're stronger, faster, smarter, quicker, then technically, you are better than them. call me egocentric but i see myself as better than someone who has no education, doesn't try in life, can't speak proper english *or any other standard language they choose to speak* and has no ambitions. me, at 115 lbs with the "perfect, curvy body" i've been told, am i equal to the 450 lbs woman whose hobby is eating doughnuts? if we're so equal, i'm sure you wouldn't have a preference or a problem when it came to choosing who you'd want to be in bed with.

What if the 450lb woman is a scientist who discovers a cure for cancer? That makes her better than you, right? That would mean she's more deserving of a better life than you, right? WRONG. On so many levels that is WRONG.

Should you judge people by their appearance? Should you judge people by their accomplishments? How do you know what they've accomoplished if all you see is their appearance?

The Bible says something like "don't judge people, or you'll be judged yourself"...that's a warning that means "most people don't hold you with the same high esteem that you hold yourself".

you're right, maybe she's 450 lbs cuz she works odd hours to find that cure for cancer, screwing up her eating habits, and i respect her because she is intellectually better than me. but physically, i have her beat. there are so many different levels to compare people. i'm not religious so i don't base my opinions on the bible, and how many people can say they never or rarely judge people on appearance? it's part of human nature to do so

Remember, we are not all created equal, but we should be given equal opportunity. Does that mean some people are better then others? That question is to broad for a simple answer. People are better then others at different things. Jordan is a better basketball player then Hawking, but Hawking is a better physicist.
