I have two turbo's, which one should I use?

Okay, I picked up another turbo from the junkyard today for three Abe Lincolns. It looks to be in awsome shape as well, and looks even better now that it is cleaned up some. Anyways, the question here is, which turbo should I use for my homemade kit? I am still 'researching' forced induction, so I am still a newbie at this. This turbo here:

Looks to be alot smaller, and maybe even easier to put into my civic. But I know smaller turbo's are not always good. So now I have this turbo here:

It really is longer then the first turbo. Hell, I'm not sure even what it is. But I have been looking at it, and with a little more fabrication, I'm sure it could fit. But which one should be better? If it helps, I can post the mileage from each car, and what they were pulled from.

Thanks in advance.

what cars did these come off of? the mitsu LOOKS like it might be better, the Garett is friggin' huge, I can see unnecisary parts that can be taken off or might not fit, the exhaust bend most likely won't fit on a 4G chassis. You need to find out the specs on these then you'll know which one is better. And what is that thing that looks like a wastegate acculator on the Garett to the very left?

That thing on the left, beats the hell out of me what it is. I figured maybe some kind of boost controller? Anyways, the second turbo came off a Dodge Caravan. Here are some more pics of the same turbo, with some of the extra crap taken off:

The first turbo I have is from a Mitsubishi Starion.

well if you could figure out how to, you should use both

but you should see if you can find some flow ratings on both of the turbos.

i would think you would be better off with the first one since the second one is such a beat you might not get usable power till like 5k

Yeah, I have decided to use the first turbo. It is smaller, and easier to get setup with the manifold. I will post up some pics as I go.
