About the S/R pcm's

After Vit digging through some of his code files and some older ones I had is seems as though every code we have looked at is some darivative of XHG3/CWQ3. Typicly a stock pcm is just those codes but a little richer.

We have also figured out that: NGP0 = JHJ0 with CWQ0(public never saw) and XHG0(theory)(also public never saw) as close contenders.

We still havent seen CBT5 or the other "Race Only" code.

CJW and I are working to get a NGP0/JHJ0 dyno.

To sum it up, basicly only NGP0 is worth really shelling any real money($220 at the most $300 will get you SCT) for, XHG3/CWQ3 will only give you better milage and an A/F tweak over all.

For those not in the know S/R computers are known as performance computers. NGP0/JHJ0 were on the 99's XHG3/CWQ3 on the 2000's. NGP0 was also sold as a "Ford Racing Computer". GRS0 sold by ZXtuner.com is just a total power/mpg killer, avoid it.

Re: About the S/R pcm's

better gas milage and no speed limiter

but from an NGP0(ford racing and 99 s/r pcm) its alost a LOT better timing and amost 10whp/10wtq for a full bolton ZX2.

All of them:
CWQ3, XHG3, NGP0, even GRS0 but over all only NGP0 is really worth buying. $200 to turn of a speed limiter is stupid when you can do that by cutting a wire.

Question

Oh...I see. Which wire do you cut to shut off that dam speed limiter. I am always going up to 105 and it kicks off. I'd really like to see what my car can do.
