Chevy II Concept *WIP*

Here's my latest work....Trumpeter 1963 Nova kit with a "body kit", Mr. Model wheels and a Ross Gibson motor (Not purchased yet). The look I'm gogin for is pretty much an "Eleanor" style; aggresive ground effects, classy wheels and a massive powerplant. Keep in mind I'm only 13 so It definately won't be a spectacular build. Enjoy, here is my progress so far:
If you have any ideas for what to do on the front bumper let me know, as I am out of ideas.
Thanks for looking

Thanks for the reply. It looks like no one likes it...I don't think I'm doing that bad but anyways onto the updates (To humour myself).

Side Skirt roughed out, I'm not sure if I like it yet, it seems like it's missing something...

Front Left part of the bumper

Body Overview

Here is an option for rims, home made deep dish Revell rims.

Another Angle

Here is the engine, I decided not to spend $30 on a Ross Gibson motor and just to make my own (Twin Turbo). Here is the start, I have one valve cover scratchbuilt so far.

Rear angle

Here is the engine I hope to replicate

That's all for now, It was too cold to take any more pics (-20C). It just so happens teh one day I remember to take pics during daylight hours, the sun isn't out! That's why the pics are kind of dark, I thought I would be nice and take some outdoor pics for you guys but looks like the weather didn't approve!
Note: The bodywork is only rough right now, it is not near completed.
Later,

Dylan

Well.....alot happened to this project. Pro street Chevelle chassis, Smallblock Chevy, MPC Mustang II slicks & skinnies. Maybe now it will get more replies...?

Re: Chevy II Concept *WIP*

What happened to the body kit and all that? Are you still intending to do the TT set up? Those turbos in your reference are massive, and that piping would be a challenge (but totally awesome). Keep it up, and good luck!

Re: Chevy II Concept *WIP*

I did'nt like the looks of the body kit, It didn't flow with the lines of the Nova, so I scratched it. I haven't really thought about Turbos anymore, I might just go all motor. Suggestions?
