Heater motor quit running

This problem started last year. As I was driving the heater motor quit running but after a while it would run again. Today Dec 28th it quit again and hasn't started. I don't know what is causing this but I am going to check the fuses and also see if there is a breaker that might be weak. If anyone has any sugestions please reply to this message. Thanks.

I think you'll find the brushes in the blower motor have worn out. The commutator that the brushes ride on is probably to worn to take another set of brushes if you could find a set. You'll have to replace it. They're easy to get at so it isn't a very hard job.

Let us know where you find a replacement.

Same thing on my 96 but I had to replace it. Fiddled with the brushes too many times. Was down to the wire. NAPPA was about $55.
