351W into 5.0, couple ?'s
Alright, I decided to put a 351W into my 5.0, I am having a local place do some work on it (gonna end up a 393). Will I have any problems with clearance or anything? I am using the current 5 spd tranny that is in it.
Anything I should look out for? I know I will probably have problems using the stock hood, I am going to get a cowl or something after it is put in.. |

Good, glad to hear it. I'm not doggin the Clev., just not a whole lot of choices with it. As far as clearance all I know is that you may need the new hood like you mentioned. I am curious, what made you change your mind? Did you take a look at some of the aftermarkets for both the W and C? Hope we helped, good luck.

Re: 351W into 5.0, couple ?'s
you can stuf fit under a stock hood if you want to. keep it lookin stock. i have seen it done. get some k member spacers from fordified raceing online. i know i spelt that wrong but google search will correct it for you. the spacers drop the ening like 2 inches i think. and a wiend stealth intake is shorter than its comp. if you go carbed. and it will fit under the stock hood. a 393 will make some good power i would be easy on the stock t5 or it wont be with ya for very long. all motor it should take it but if ya put any power adder on it i would strongly suggest a different trans.
