low coolant light 02 intrique 3.5

It comes off and on randomly. There is now actual radiator cap and the resiviour (sp) level is normal. Also have low oil light mentioned earlier by a couple people and I have a MAF code! Coupled with the bad wheel speed sensor shutting off the trac and anti-lock, every warning light in the car is on! But the car runs great!

Any advice?

Chris

Re: low coolant light 02 intrique 3.5

the low coolant issues is something i am yet to figure out. i just ignore it, i know that theres enough and ive done a flush, but no matter what, if it runs for a long period of time, it comes right back. now i think the light is going out because when it flasehes it looks like a disco light.

Check the strength of the battery if all of this has occured within a week or two. I had a '96 LSS (Damn I miss that boat) and when the alternator was going up, the dash would light up like a pinball machine scoring 3 free games for ya! Check the alternator also for sufficient output.
I had a gurgling noise sometimes after starting the car when parked downwards at an angle. I filled the overflow tank to the "HOT" line when cold and haven't heard it since, nor seen a "Low Coolant" light either. I keep a 20 oz. soda bottle in my garage w/ a 50/50 antifreeze pre-mix ready since then (over a year and a half ago) and haven't needed it in over 15,000 miles. (72,000+ miles total)
