No radio manual need help
My previously owned BMW did not come with a manual for the business cd radio, or a owners manual. I found a downloadable owners manual for free on the internet (however cannot find where I got it from). I am now looking for info on my radio. Does anyone have some insight on where to find this info???
Basically I need info on how to change the clock, and curious as to the meaning of the buttons on the right that tell you what radio station and what song is playing??? Not sure of purpose or their correct use. I have figured out the basics but sure could use some help with finding this manual or just some hints to some of the other features other that the basic stuff. THANKS. LORI |

Re: No radio manual need help
Quote:
On most models, the radio clock is tied to the clock that is displayed in the trip computer display associated with the main gauges. The radio clock will syncronize with the computer clock when adjusted. (i.e. make the clock the active/displayed item in the trip computer, turn the adjustment knob under the tach [usually under the tach, I think], and change the time accordingly -- the radio will then syncronize to the new time) The RDS/PTY buttons are used to display music type and/or station information on the radio's display when not in "clock display" mode. However, not all stations utilize this feature. (i.e. if you see "NO PTY" when you push the PTY button, it means that station does not employ/support that feature) Hope that helps. |
