programming Garage Door opener

how do you program this(3 buttons on visor), i've never really figured this out?

your door motor has a code on it (usually in binary), if you open up the battery cover on the remote, there are switches for the 3 buttons to set the code.

Uh wow I have no idea what the hell you are talking about...

All you need to do is get the transmitter used to open the garage door, point it at the transmitter on your visor, and at the same time hold down the button to the far right. You have to use that button first, no idea why but you do. Then you can use the other 2 buttons for other doors if you choose. If you have the manual it also explains it with pictures.

I've done exactly what the car manual says and mine still doesn't work. I gave up a while ago.

newer door motors aren't compatible with older homelink systems and even some new ones. I think its a security thing.

push and hlod the open button on your opener at the same time you push and hold the button on your visor then it will grab the code.
