engine just stopped

This has happened to me twice, going do the road the engine just shuts off, the first after 3 days of changing this and that from advice from a chev dealership, it turned out to be the coil wire, even thro the plugs was firing using a timing light, this time again everthing I have checked coil wire, coil, sencer underneath in frt, also I had a motorest that was behind me noticed just before the engine stopped, saw sparks coming from underneath the engine, but I don,t see anything wrong?????????????????????

Well do you have spark now? Does it crank over? Look for a bad rotor if no spark then scan it and see if you have cranking rpms

the only thing I've done on it is checked the coil wire(on the omhs meter) it cranks over, just won't fire .will just the rotor in the morning. can't do anything else tomorrow (snow/freezing rain) I'll just play in the garage....
