Can someone answer this
I posted a message here a while back about my 1990 eclipse, and ive tried just about everything and no go, it still wont start, and a guy who lives down the road from me has the exact same make and model eclipse as mine, same engine size, except he has a automatic transmission and mine is a manual... he said he had the same problem, and he bought a motoguy rebuilt ECU for his and it solved his problem, but now he wants to part out his eclipse after someone rear ended him, and he said i could get the ecu off of him if i wanted it, and i just wanted to know does the transmission types matter if everything else is the same... thanks for your help

There are different ECU's for the auto and manual cars.
