please help!
Ok. Hi im jessica. My car is a POS but its what i have. I have had it for almost 2 months and its already messing up! its a 91 dodge spirit. Yesterday when i backed out of my friends steep driveway the bottom of my car kind of scraped the pavement but i didnt think anything of it. well i start to drive down his street and i hear this HORRIBLY LOUD squeaking noise. i mean its so loud the neighbors are staring at us. it sounds like you knoiw when your brakes squeak only like break your eardrums loud, and it did not do it when i was breaking it did it when i was just driving, whether i was pushing on the gas or not. does any one have any idea of what this is or how much it will cost to fix? i cant go to work today i have no ride to take my daughter to daycare so if i dont get this fixed SOON im screwed. and im kinda broke. has anyone ever heard of a car repair shop doing a payment plan? LOL! no but seriously help me someone my email is [email protected]

its probably a pulley. Does it make the noise even when the car isn't moving?
Yes, some repair places do financing.

i forgot to mention that when i got out of the car i could smell metal on metal like it was grinding. i am taking it to midas tomorrow morning. thanks for the quick reply
