Elantra 2001 - instrument panel lights go off and on

I've got an Elantra 2001 hatchback automatic. Lately it is happening that the instrument panel lights go off for a little while and then go on again.

It happens at any time, but I am under the impression that it happens the most when I turn the indicator to either side.

I've checked all the fuses and they are all ok.

Can anyone give me any help to track this problem?

I've notices that the tail lights also go off at the same time. What can be wrong?
