Has anyone here used a HeliCoil kit to repair a striped spark plug thread in the head of a 3.1?????? I have the kit here but have been putting it off to get it done because I was told that I should take the head off to repair the striped treads in the spark plug port but then I had two other people tell me that I didn't have to go through taking the head off. Now is any of this true?????
Thanks in advance |

Re: HeliCoil kit
Why do you think they made a kit?
Answer = So you do not have to take off the head to fix it. Read the instructions and Us a little care and try to clean the shavings out of cylinder Good luck MT MT
