shifter problem

i just had a 3 inch lift inst and my shifter is hitting the counsel in 2nd and rev. Sometimes slips out of those gears. any sggestions?

Suspension or body lift?

Sounds like a body lift...the body is higher, and the transmission didn't move up with it; so the shifter swivel point is lower. Since there's more movement the higher on the shift lever you go, it's hitting the dash.
