Ignitor

Ok....I have 90 CRX Si and the previous owner has the ignitor go on him so he replaced it. Since then I bought a ZC engine and put it in, the ignitor went on it so I put the relatively new ignitor (4 months old ) from the old engine in and it working for now. My question is if I buy a Crane Ignition Model HI-6TRC will it put on end to the troublesome ignitors of hondas from this year? I can get the system for 245 CDN and a ignitor costs about 100 CDN each time...so should I just get the Crane Ignition System? Or is it necessary to do external coil as well?

I am not familiar with the 90 CRX ignition system, but what is an ignitor?? Do you mean the ignition coil?

Do you mean the ignition coil brakes down fast?

If your ignition coil brakes down frequenly, you should find out what is the cause instead of keep changing them.
