Fuel pump location
Okay so.... Christmas eve night, my bf drives an hour and 1/2 to go pick up his kids at his x-inlaws. Of all the places and times for my van to die it picked then! When he went to start it back up it wouldn't. So now my van is stuck there and I need to figure out how hard the fix is or if I should just fork out the money.
My Hanes manuel is in my van so I'm wondering if someone could please tell me if the fuel pump in a 1992 grand voyager is located in the gas tank or not? |

Re: Fuel pump location
The fuel pump is located in the tank. You have to drop the fuel tank in order to change it. Not an easy job as it is time consuming and the tank can be heavy.

Worked for me twice. Have someone turn the ignition over while someone else raps the fuel tank with a 2X4. If dead spot in pump, it will buy you a start or 2 or 3.
