Battery Lite Stays On 1996 Cont

Just a quick run down .. 1996 Lin Cont dies on the road
Replaced Battery runs good for day and a half same thing dies on the road. Replace the Alternator runs fine but nowbattery lite comes on after driving 4 to 5 miles .... wondering if some one else had a simillar
problem or might have insights.

Did you check the Voltage Regulator? Also check for a loose ground that might be draining your charge. they can be tricky to locate.

Thanks ... Shouldn't the Volt regulator be built into the alternator on the newer car's ????

Thanks Once again !! I will look into buying the Volt regulator .. Hope this fixes my problem.
