97 heating problem

My 97 is showing all the signs of having a blend door problem. At first it blew only hot air, no matter where the temp selector was. Now, No hot air at all. After thinking I had eleminated any other causes, I tried the blend door fix. This didn't work. The actuator fit back in fine but temperature didn't change. When I pulled it back out I noticed that the pin I had inserted was bent.

I'm out of ideas. Help?

Re: 97 heating problem

Is there a possibility you may have dropped something down the defroster vent and is binding the door?
